Build the automated tests the team ships behind. You will decide what is worth automating, keep the suite trustworthy, and make a failure something an engineer can act on.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain automated functional and regression suites. Keep the suite fast and free of flakes - a suite nobody trusts is a suite nobody runs. Write reproducible defect reports with the evidence attached. Work with developers on testability before code is written. Report quality honestly against the release date.
